Front Panel HD audio not working.

Hi, I plugged my NZXT's Phantom 410's hd audio cable to the AAFP port on the motherboard. I then plugged my headphones, and it can't even detect the headphones plugged in. Do i have to switch the cables around or something? My motherboard is ASUS Maximus VI Hero. Also, the rear headphone jack works. So, if I plug in my headphones to the back of my computer case, it works there. My headphones just doesn't work on the top part of the case. Thanks in advanced.

Make sure (via your motherboard's instruction booklet) that your audio headers are properly plugged in.

Its in the right place. AAFP. Still doesn't work though.

I'd say drivers but you said that the Rear I/O panel works with the audio.

Have you removed the bezel from the front of the case to ensure that the audio port isn't damaged?
