Front panel switches, ABIT orientation?

I just installed an ABIT-1C7 MB into an Antec True 430 case/Power Supply.
This novice is now working on the front panel switches with this question
about orientation.

The Abit manual says "Reset (labeled RESET SW) connects to your motherboard
at the RST connector. The label should be facing the front of the case, and
for all of the following connectors as well."

That seems impossible since the label faces Top or bottom since pins 5 and 7
are parallel to either.

Or should I even care since the only explicit warning on this page is "watch
the power LED pin position ... could cause system malfunction.". Fact is, I
see nothing on the POWER SW (the power LED?) plug for orientation except for
a molded triangle over one of the two holes.

The speaker might go horizontal, as might the three pin 'power LED'
connector, but, many boards have the two pin connectors for 'RST', 'HDD
LED', and others, plug in vertical! Also, you could check the .pdf of
the manual, at the manufacturer's website, and the FAQs, to see if they
expound upon the wire connections!

It doesn't matter which way round the front panel switch connectors are
oriented. As they simply connect to a 'push to make' momentary switch it
can't make a difference.
The front panel LED connectors need to be the right way round for the LEDs
to be able to light, but you won't blow anything up if they are on backwards
as diodes will only flow current one way. Give it a try as best as you can
figure it out and if a LED doesn't light when it should then power down and
reverse its connector. A moulded triangle on a connector is usually used to
indicate 'pin 1', and the mobo manual should show you where pin 1 should be.
The internal PC case speaker/buzzer should work fine either way around,
don't worry.
One additional point about the power LED is that some mobos can work a
dual-colour power LED to show the difference between power-on and standby or
suspend. Unfortunately, few cases are supplied with a dual-colour LED for
the purpose.

Thanks for easing my mind. I'm going to forge ahead.
