front panel USB 3.0 not working

i have recently moved my build from a mid atx case into a prodigy-m and since ive done so the front panel usb 3.0 has stopped working,although the front panel connector going to the motherboard was a tight fit it is inserted properly. I have no idea why but it just isnt working. could it be a driver issue? any response is appreciated

my build is,
i5 3330
8gb ddr3
asus p8b75-m/csm
500gb wd green
msi twin frozr iii 7970 oc boost edition
850w 80+ bronze psu

It might be the port on the new case. Do you have a USB2 to USB 3 adapter so you can plug it into the USB2 header and test it?

Have you installed the latest USB 3.0 drivers for your motherboard?

i do not have an adapter and i cant really buy one at the moment and yes i do have the drivers my motherboard usb 3.0 is working fine its just the front panel
