Front Panel USB 3.0 with B450M Mortar

Hi all, I'm planning a new build, and I was taking a look at the Fractal Design Meshify C TG, which has 2 USB 3.0s at the front. Taking a look at my planned motherboard, the MSI B450M Mortar, it says it has support for two USB 3.1s at the front. Does this mean that the two are compatible? Noob question, I know, but I'm paranoid it might not be backwards compatible or something. Can anyone confirm they are compatible? Thanks in advance.

FYI the Fractal Design Meshify C TG has USB 3.0 ports, not 3.1.

But yes 3.0 and 3.1 headers and plugs are identical.

Sorry, it was a typo. I meant 3.0 ports.
