Question Front Panel USB 3.0 works as USB 2.0?

Hello there, I've got a Deepcool Tesseract case with a MSI z270 KRAIT GAMING motherboard. I've installed (several times) the ASMEDIA 3.1 drivers, but I can't get the FRONT PANEL USB 3.0 to act as such, rather than 2.0.

The back panel works correctly and I can connect the cable to it (it'll work as 3.0). But my 3 mts cable is not long enough for my VR, so I would like those extra 30~ cm I lose connecting it to the back panel.

Anyone has a clue?

Already tried motherboard settings but found nothing. Reinstalled drivers and also identified which port is the 3.0 front (It says #6 and hub #1)

there are 2 usb3 header, did you try them both?

That's when I connect my 2.0 gamepad to the port. It says USB300 (no)

Pardon my ignorance, but I fail to find the 2nd header.

I'm sorry, it didn't. While it now shows "OCULUS LINK" and it didn't before, it works intermittently. 2-3 seconds and it says PC disconnected, activate OCULUS LINK again, and you activate it for other 2-3 secs until it repeats. Any hints? Thanks!

Okay I guess I'll look for motherboard and front panel incompatibility.
