Question Front panel USB drops connection

Hello!

Whenever i connect a hard drive or a USB Flash drive to one of the front panel's USB ports the drives constantly disconnect ( they disappear completely from my computer ). The system was built a year ago and it has the problem since then.Any ideas what may be causing this frustrating problem? Thanks in advance! (my case is the Fractal Design Meshify C Mini)

If only happens on the front USB, then it could be faulty front USB ports on the case.
Check the USB header and make sure the USB cable is seated properly.

Cable connecting to motherboard is installed crooked.

I bought a PC csae and the rear front USB port would always drop out when trying to copy/move files from usb's. the front port worked fine.

emailed the cases maker and they said its likely faulty and sent me a new one and it works fine now.
