Hey guys,

So I have a question, it may seem dumb but this is the best place I know of to ask and get a quick definitive answer!

My case has 4 front USB 3,.0 Ports, however, my motherboard only has ONE USB 3.0 connector, obviously I'd like to try and get use out of all 4 ports, is there anyway I can get the one USB connector to power/run all 4 ports?

Ideally I wouldn't want to upgrade my motherboard right now, I can't really afford to =\

Thanks guys!

Dale

Solution
No, there isn't, however, you CAN use one of these if you have a free PCIe slot and can afford the part. It will allow you to connect additional front panel USB 3.0 ports if your motherboard lack sufficient 20 pin internal connectors.

Even if you could split one 20 pin to all four ports, you'd not be able to use them all at the same time in all probability, but this way you should be able to. Plus you gain two additional rear ports as well. There are other similar products out there as well if you search for them.

Thanks for your response!
That looks like an ideal solution, however, I very much doubt that my front USB 3.0 header cable will stretch as far as where that pCIE card would be installed, I assume I can get some kind of extender? (My case is the CoolerMaster Cosmos)
