As a work-around, for the time being you could use a USB3.0 to USB2.0 adapter and plug it into one of the motherboard's USB2.0 headers instead. That would isolate the problem as being the FP assembly or the on-board USB chip. http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Internal-Adapter-G11303050-RT/dp/B0098FSJ92/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399863594&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+2+to+usb+3+converter
So i tried to use the 3.0 on my mother board and nothing happened.. They are not working either
Wait. You're confusing me. Earlier you said the rear ports were working, just the front ports failed.
Another thing. You say they work when you are in BIOS. how do you know they work?
Is this the driver you installed:
Asmedia USB3.0 Controller Driver V1.16.12.0 for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
