Front usb 3.0 will not work

My front panel usb 3.0 will not work after windows 7 boot. They work up until windows 7 starts to boot. The computer was custom built.
I have updated the bios to the most recent.
Please someone help me! This is getting really frustrating!!!!

No they did not work before i updated Bios and there are no problems

Is it possible that the person who built your PC used the Win7 drivers instead of the Win8 drivers? There may not be any difference, it's just a thought. Check in Device Manager (open Universal Serial Bus Controllers) and tell me 1) if there are any flags and 2) if any of the USB3 items show the device working or not working when clicked open.

You need to tell us the make/model of your motherboard and the processor you have.

That might be it they were windows 8 drivers. There are not any flags. All of the on the back of the mother board are working. But there is nothing popping up for the front usb 3.0.
The Mother Board is a Asus M5A97 R.0
The Prossesor is Amd FX-8320 (3.5 GHZ 8 Core)

When I sit at the Bios it works. But when Windows starts to boot it fails and you can not get anything out of it.

When I sit at the Bios it works. But when Windows starts to boot it fails and you can not get anything out of it.

No nothing happens at all.

Is it within your realm of experience to do a clean install of Win7? Do you have the installation DVD? There has to be something wrong with the installation. Oh, and do you have a SSD?

Yes is do have the Install Disc. No I do not have a SSD, not yet atleast

I've about run out of ideas. But it is always hard to troubleshoot from a distance. Are you up for a clean install of Win7? I know... everything will have to be re-installed and you'll lose lots personal stuff. You could first make a Win7 disk image of your HDD to a USB drive. Then if the new installation doesn't solve the problem, you could always revert back to the disk image you made and everything will be as it was before the clean install of Win7.

I went a head a reinstalled Windows 7 and it is still doing the same thing.. Right as Windows boots it just stops working... This is so frustrating

Wait. You're confusing me. Earlier you said the rear ports were working, just the front ports failed.

All your phone uses is the +5V available at the USB port for charging. That doesn't prove that the serial data transfer works.
But now you're saying even that doesn't work?

Hey i got it to work and all.. But now i have an even bigger problem.. My computer is freezing and i think that it might be due to anything being plugged into the front panel usb 3.0 Any ideas?
