[SOLVED] Front USB port not working?

Just installed a USB motherboard header L adapter, and the one front USB port isn't working correctly, it will not recognize any device connected to it, but will provide power to said devices(currently charging my phone). The computer in question is a Acer Aspire TC-605, it has two blue front USB ports, one that says USB USB 3.0, and another that says USB with a battery icon. The USB port with the battery icon is the one that's not working correctly. Unable to tell if it worked before installing the USB header adapter, as the front USB ports have been a couple of years due to graphics card blocking USB header on the motherboard.

I'd suggest removing the GPU, and testing directly on the MB header.

Have to isolate whether everything is functional without the adapter present.
