Frozen mouse windows 7

Hello,
My mouse driver is currpted, how do I install the driver on a computer with no mouse control?

Use your keyboard - Windows key, tab, arrow keys - there are other ways to get around friend.

The chances are that there is nothing wrong with your mouse and that your problem is either software or a memory problem. Try the computer in safe mode, do you still have the problem of the mouse freezing? if not then you have a software problem. If it still freezes then try testing the memory by running memtest86 for at least three passes, any errors in this test are the cause of your problem.

Just out of curiosity, and only if you are comfortable, look in the registry at this value HKeyLocalMachine\system\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\xxxxx. In order to find out which folder xxxxx is scroll through all of the folders until you see one that says Mouse as the value for the Class key. In this directory make sure upperfilters are set to mouclass. If they are not the result will be the problem you are experiencing.
