Question Frozen screen

Hello, In 2014 I built a PC. I am in no way an IT guy. The system has been running great for 6 years... Built with the following...
Gigabyte G1 Sniper z97 mother board,
Intel Core i7-470K Processor,
EVGA Super Clocked GTX 760 2GB 256-bit ,
G Skill 32 GB Ram (4x8GB),
Built by watching YouTube.
The question is... My screens are locking up. I am leaning towards the Graphics Card and want to try replacing it.
Question one is, will my system handle me switching graphics cards or other parts like or processor?
It seems especially prone to freezing up if I have a video or live stream playing?
Can I remove the card and see it runs fine with just one screen pugged into the mother board?
I now have 3 - 27" Acer monitors. 1 plugged into the mother board and 2 into the card.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help.

try to the use you IGPU within the motherboard with one monitor, or within the to see if you’re still experiencing lock ups. If it still occurs then it could probably be a software issue. But if lock ups are not occurring without your GPU, it could be that it’s failing, or maybe it’s not receiving enough/stable power, so like a PSU issue.

since you didn’t list your psu what is it?
