When starting FS 2002 an error message appears:
"Microsoft Flt Simulator 2002 has detected 3rd party
software that may not be compatible with this version of
Flt Simulator.
Do you want to load this software? Clicking NO will
disable this software"

I introduced no 3rd party software and when I click NO
it closes FS 2002. This is a new problem as it worked
fine before. Has anyone else had this problem?

Joe -
Did you by any chance install and add-on aircraft or new
scenery?

No, I added nothing. The 3rd party software being
referred to is "traffic.dll" which is an operatimg system
program that I don't want to touch.

If the file is traffic.dll this happens when installing service pack 1
on Windows XP after the installation of FS2002. Un-install and
re-install the simulator. If you are not using XP detail your system
and OS, you didn't give any information in your first post to help
further...

I'm having the exact same problem. By coincidence it occurred immediately after I'd loaded some new updates from MS. Wondering if that had anything to do with it? Sure would like to hear some suggestions from MS.

I have exactly the same problem.I get the opening screen
(with the Jumbo) and then the error message saying
that "traffic.dll" is 3th party software. I'did'nt change
anything in the Fs. Wether i press Y or N, FS stops and I
get my desktop again.
Who can help?
