After putting it off for a long time, I finally installed the fs 9.1
upgrade. Also installed latest version of fsuipc. Bad decision! FS won't
load now...get a screen telling me that some of my addons wont work and then
mentions "traffictoolbox.dll". Immediately closes down. Uninstalled 9.1
and now no screen warning but it won't load. Any ideas?
Thanks
Bob

I agree. This reads like a problem with the MS traffictool program,
and simply uninstalling it by removing the DLL from the modules folder
should have cleared up that error.

Hopefully the OP can try this, then resintall the 9.1 update over the
quasi-9.0 environment he has now to get back full functionality.

Did you try uninstalling the traffictool program, or at least removing
the traffictoolbox.dll file? Try reinstalling the 9.1 then removing the
traffictollbox.dll to have version 9.1. Try uninstalling 9.0 and starting
over to have 9.0.

Another thing to remember is to install the 9.1 patch over an
installation that has the original "out of the box" fs9.exe file (not
the "NoCD" patched version of fs9.exe).

After that, the v9.1 NoCD patched fs9.exe can be used.

Good catch. I forgot about the upgrade incompatibilities of the no-cd
patch.

Uninstalling Traffictoolbox didn't help. Guess I'll just uninstall fs9 and
then reinstall. Hope all my other add ons still work.

Thanks,
Bob

Ha, that was the problem...had the "no CD" version of the .exe file in
there. All well now. thanks much!
