I want to start practicing landings (day, dusk, night) at the local
airport were I plan to take flight instruction. Is there a way to
create a flight without take off? Similar to landing #2 in the flight
lessons were the flight starts lined up for approach at 2500 ft.

yes,
first go to your airport, take off. fly around, and when your in position to
to where you want your flight to Start... go to the options and save your
flight
