Folks

Have just installed FS2004 and it simply won't start.

Machine is a Pentium 4 2.8GHz, 1gb PC3300 memory, ATI Radeon 9600XT, 120GB
SATA HD NTFS, WinXP Pro SP2

Keep getting the following error message

AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.1.0.40901 ModName: ~df394b.tmp
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00053fe2

Have turned off Hyperthreading, installed v9/1 update for FS2004, latest
driver for ATI Radeon, have updated FSUIPC.

Nothing seems to help.

Any other suggestions?

Check the FAQ below, looks like the copy-protection is causing your
problem...

Thank you Katy.

Seems the "no name" DVD player was the problem. The FAQ was very helpful and
is now bookmarked.
