Hi Simmers!

I use a 2nd Monitor on my FX5600. If I switch FS9 into FullScreen I can use
the 2nd Monitor for some Utilities (calculator, etc.). But everytime I click
on any point on the 2nd monitor (no matter if it is a programm or only the
desktop) FS immediatly is minimized to the taskbar and the mousepointer is
positioned in the center of the 1st monitor showing the desktop. Now my
question: is it possible o prevent FS9 to minimize if I access an program on
the expanded desktop on the 2nd monitor?

I'm using WinXP Home and have the newest NVIDIA drivers installed.

Any suggestions?

Greetings Norbert

Nope, until you go fullscreen. but you could start a second window
like an external view, on the second monitor.

you start fs windowed

create new view

undock window

move window on the next display

go fullscreen

resize second window as required

numlock on

press and hold the desired direction on the keypad (consider the central is
5, front is 8 etc)

press ctrl to lock it

release direction key

release control

numlock off

enjoy

I had the same problem you have. The only way to go about it. Is to do FS
windowed. Its ok, just not full screen you lose a few mm's but its not so
bad, better then nothing
