FSB and components POLL!

If you know a good link where different components have been tested at non standard FSB speeds do post them here.

Please try following a structured manner similar to this:

"
FSB Speed
-Problem description if crashes at higher setting
-Likely cause if any idea, eg what component is causing the crash.

CPU
-Stock Speed
-Actual Speed
-CPU Info

Operatingsystem
-Service Packs
-DirecX level installed

Motherboard
-Revision
-Bios version
-Stable running temprature at 100% CPU load

Memory
-Revision
-Voltage settings
-Timer settings

Component
-Revision
-Driver info

Additional comments
"

This could turn out to be a good reference for people trying to sort their oc-related crasches, or what hardware have the best overclocking potential.

My current setup is:
FSB 137
-Intermittently blue screens at 138, running stable at 137.
-It's most likely my old graphicscard that's causing this. Still waiting for my Geforce 3 and currently running my VERY old Matrox Mystique..

AMD TBIRD
-1333Mhz
-1636Mhz
-A1333AMS3C, AXIA 0110MPMW

Win98SE
Clean Install
DirectX 8.0a

ASUS A7M266
-Revision 1.04
-BIOS 1.03
-24C

APACER 256MB PC2100 DDR
-Revision unavailable
-Running at CL2
-Default voltage

Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1

for all everyone says I think cpu speed does affect it too, so maybe should include spu type and code (AXIA/AVIA) stock and actual speeds.

Is your question "What is causing you to crash? The CPU or PCI's?"

One way to find out. Take out all the PCI's and OC. Then replace one a day (it's good for your health too).

OH OH did I see 1.6+? Umm that could be stopping you. The best thing to do is lower the multiplier and up the FSB. This will give you more speed.

Well, I wasn't really posting a question. It's a mere attempt go get people to post their setups.

In the long run this could potentially be used as a reference for people who DO have problems, or whom are about to make purchase decisions.

In my case the 1636Mhz of the CPU isn't the limit. Similar setups is reaching 1750+.
Bare in mind that I use a Vapochill and the CPU is chilled to subsero levels..

Tis a pity WinTune and the its analysis/comparison database isn't online anymore! It really helped me getting my boxes running as they should, and showed who/what was whippin ya bad!!

Have tried the free downloads of Sysoft sandra and MBM but they're crippleware unless ya get a full liscense.

Any other good benchmark/analysys software out there?

Or anybody going to pick up WinTune?
Tom ever thought about it?

i think this post is all about you wanting to brag about your setup. how much did you pay for that system? what monitor you got?

I'd like to see some benchmarks. Cpu and memory

I'm running:
1000mhz 'C' AXIA athlon week 9
1314 @ 145x9 at CAS2 and fastest memory settings
ATI Radeon 32mb DDR
128mb Mushkin Cas2 PC133 Sdram
IWILL KK266 mobo.

Can do 150x10 and boot into windows.

AT 1314

3596 MIPS
1767 MFLOPS

ALU/Ram Bandwith 553 MB/Sec
FPU/Ram Bandwith 636 MB/Sec

Sorry to dissapoint you...

If I really want'ed to brag, then I would have mentioned
The Creative DTT3500 speaker package or
The Toshiba 21" professional screen or
The electricaly adjustable Holmberg original desk wich everything stands on.

Perhaps I would even bring to your attention that I also have a Agfa Horizon professional scanner, but no that would be too much...

I certainly wouldn't bother to mention my
ACT LABS Force RS wheel, complete with the optional shifter
Logitech iTouch cordless keyboard with the Logitech cordless MouseMan wheel, that would just be rubbing your nose in it...

How much it all costs? If you have to ask, you can't afford it...
