What is a 5:6 fsb:dram ratio? Is this better than 1:1 ratio?

Good answer!

Not that I understood it.

5:6 means your rams runs at a ratio of 5:6 with your Bus Speed.

ex:

Bus speed is 500mhz
Your ram will run at 600mhz(1.2ghz effective)

And no, 1:1 is generally better in a number of ways. Including performance.

42 is the universal answer to everything (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy). Of course, since I didn't care much for the series, I might have gotten it wrong (is it 41?).

Well that depends. 1:1 is good if your RAM can go fast enough, depending of overclocking.

Usually 5:6 comes very handy.
