Since FSB OC work on almost every single cpu (I think), but there is also unlocked cpu. Which confuses me what is the point of getting an unlocked cpu, are there advantages with multiplier overclocking, or is there disadvantages with FSB overclocking. If anyone could help my confused mind and explain all these, I would appreciate it a lot.

Solution
Hello... a lot of online articles about this... CPU multiplier is best ( but you need a "K" cpu and "Z" MB ) this will have a larger increase than FSB for the CPU... FSB overclocks your Ram/MB and CPU... but Ram is harder to OC vs a CPU due to better CPU cooling options vs the RAM or MB cooling.

It depends on the generation of the cpu.
Multiplier overclocking is better since it was designed for the purpose.
Fiddling with the fsb on new gen cpus have only a minimal amount if effective range, perhaps a 2% overclock.
FSB interacts with many other parts.
On older chips fsb was the only way to do it since the clock rate was fixed.
