FSP overclock socket 478

I've been fooling around with this old socket 478 pc.
This is the motherboard.

What does the 800mhz FSP overclock mean?
Does this mean the motherboard is not meant to run at that and it overclocks itself?
Is this causing a performance loss with my 800 mhz fsp cpu?
Hopefully some of you guys will know this.

What it is saying is that it can do a 800 FSB (Not FSP) but you have to go into the bios and manually set it. That is how a lot of mothebroards are with RAM these days. Anything that is over what the Motherboard/CPU is designed for is considered overclocking and need manual settings. Now that doesn't mean you are stressing out your stuff. If you over clock the FSB to 800 on a 800 FSB CPU you can't overclocking the CPU. Same for RAM.

What speed it is showing that it is running when you are in windows?

2.8ghz, which is the speed of the 800mhz cpu I installed
I didn't set it in the bios though, I just put it in and went ahead

It's FSB not FSP. Front side bus.

There is no overclock except that you are basically overclocking the motherboard's Northbridge by running a CPU with an 800Mhz FSB.

800Mhz FSB CPUs are supported but they are an 'overclock' of what the board natively supports.
