Hey guys
Just bought a FSP600 - 80TBN a bit used
Want to buy a 500W Cooler master psu but wasn't available so bought this 80 + bronze 600W but haven't heard of this manufacturer
BTW My specs are:
I5 3570 3.4Ghz (will buy a 3570k later and clock it to 3.8GHz)
8GB DDR3 RAM @1600Mhz
128GB SSD
500GB HDD
4x1 Cooler master 120nm led fan
stock cooler for pro
thermaltake case
win 10
HP IPS LED 1920x1200 (doesn't matter right )
Had a GTX 1050 Ti msi OC but sold (bought the psu becasue going to buy" RX 480 4GB Sapphire Nitro "

So is this FSP good ??? and it'll be fine with my rig ?

BTW had a Hyper 425W PSU with 495W Peak load ...

Thankx & sorry for bad english ...

Pakistan and yeah budget was low about 28$ max

I won't buy...
s-l1600.jpg

It shows 18A on 2 12V rails -> 532W, old model made in China, normally we put 20% headroom -> max power draw < 430 W
RX480 should be fine it the psu is performing.
How much can you get 3570k for? May not worth the cost...
In the end, what's done is done, RX480 power draw ~ 120W from some googling, should be fine. What model is your 480 btw?

You should probably save your money until you can get something better. Get a cheap PSU like that and you're likely to wind up replacing it 3 months later due to it shorting, blowing up on you, or worse. Pay a bit more and get a quality PSU and it will last you years before you will need a replacement.

I'n thinking of sapphire nitro getting in about 200$ it'll be fine right ?

agree to gunit's point, yes for now but we can not guarantee how long, depending on the unit condition, could be months, nobody knows.

I will recommend you buy cooler master masterwatt lite 500 on ishopping.pk if you can return it, 51xx pkr for new. Although not great, but much better than the fsp one.

Not exactly. With power supplies it's more about quality than quantity. Yes, you have to have wattage that meets the specifications of the product that you're planning to buy. But just like anything else PSUs wear out over time (mainly due to quality of the capacitors used) and poorly made PSUs will wear out even faster than that. Just because you theoretically could power this setup with that supply doesn't always mean that it's a good idea.

But why? Why take a risk and run off a lower end PSU just to save a few bucks? Sometimes the headaches associated aren't worth the risk.

i had fsp sega 2 500 and used with phenom 2 x6 1090t and hd7950 , both moderately overclocked and this power supply ran them fine. Though it silently died after 5 years of usage ( no components were harmed, it was like if a fuse went off in psu).

my personal experience was good (maybe i got lucky)
I think you will be fine as your setup consume low power while mine was maxing it out and it still managed to run them for that much time
