So i gonna change platform, and the CPU will be a Ryzen 5 3600 probably.
I currently have an FSP Windale 4 custom cooler on my Intel, and just curious if the stock, or this custom is the better option.

OK? So overclock. What voltages and clock speeds are you looking to hit and what temps are you expecting at the TDP produced?

You are asking overly generic questions hoping to get a direct answer. Cannot provide that without more information.

the CPU will be a Ryzen 5 3600 probably.

So, is it, or is it not?

Provide more, exact detail, please.

My plan is to achieve 4.3GHz around 1,4V, but I'm afraid that it's not possible with these coolers, and no clue at all if my mobo will handle it well (B450M DS3H).
Yes, it'll be an R5 3600 for sure now.

From what I have seen and Googling just now, B450 isn't the board you want if you are looking to overclock...you want X470. B450 is your entry-level board and supports mild overclocking...might not have the capacity for larger overclocks.

And.....doesn't the Ryzen 5 3600 boost to 4.2 ghz out of the box by default? What is that extra 100mhz getting?
