Hello all! my name is Marc, i am 15 years of age. i, like many of you, have a passion for flight and simulation, i would like to upgrade my graphics card, and i would like to know which is best for fsx:

Geforce GTX 1060 3gb, - a link here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-Nvidia-1060-GDDR5-PCI-E/dp/B01KHWOAR4/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1492258988&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+1060
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB - a link here https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-GeForce-Superclocked-Express-Graphics/dp/B01IOWT538/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1492356531&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+1060+6gb
RX 470
RX480
RX 570

out of these, which gives the best possible specs/setting for an almost maxed out flight sim or a very high spec flight sim. money isn't an issue, although i do earn my own money, so i do have a max budget of £250 or $313.
Whatever responses i may get will help me make my final decision.

Here are my current specs (not great but hey ho!): Motherboard: Asrock FM2A68M-HD+
integrated graphics chipset: AMD Radeon R7 Graphics with a memory size of 1gb and memory type of DDR3, 8gb of ram and the cpu type is AMD A8-7650k Radeon R7, 10 compute cores 4C+6G (quad core processor).
I am also running a triple display setup with two lenovo l193 19" monitors running at 1400 x 900 sandwiching a Phillips 26" tv running at 1600 x 900. i have one last query, will my mother board bottleneck? I've heard about it but i don't think it should happen, but just to be safe i'm asking

I am open to any suggestions you may have are all are greatly appreciated.
best regards
Marc. :)

Solution
For a flight simulator you want maximum CPU performance, the GPU is not as important. You have an APU, which is not meant for gaming. The idea of APU based systems is they offer adequate performance for non gaming computing, so the customer does not have to buy a videocard. You can still add a videocard, and game on them, but performance will suffer on games that require a lot of CPU power.

For this reason, the most I'd spend on a videocard is the price of an RX 470, if flight simulators were my game.
Not sure if this will be helpfull but it seem that FSX run alot better on intel it maybe worth considering changing platforms

http://jetlinesystems.com/performance/

That aside it also seems to be run a little better on Nvidia so probably 1060 6GB but I couldn't find any real resent benmarks.

if i didn't get a new platform, and stayed with what ihad, would it run well??

thanks
