I'd like to FTP a bunch of files from my iphone to my home server. Lets use pictures for example. When I connect to my server via VPN, I used FTPManager to navigate to the desired path however there's not option to actually transfer the files.

It looks like the only thing you can do is download, not upload the files. How do I upload?

Second question is, when I open a photo for example, and click share, the FTP app is not in the list of "approved programs". How can I add the FTP app to that list?

Thank you.

Solution
So I figured it out and will post my answer in case anyone has the same question. The app I was using just sucked. FTPManager, why an FTP app wouldn't let you actually ftp TO something is beyond me. I downloaded another one, "FTP client lite" and it would allow me to upload files but had a 5 file limit, so I bought the pro version for $3 since the basic version could do what I needed with basic limitations.

I'd still like an answer to that other question though, regarding adding the FTP app to the "sharing center" on the iphone. Overall though, I'm very happy with this solution.
