Full duplex gigabyte Router/Switch Question

Howdy,

I have been scouring the web for a while trying to get a good basis for this, to no avail. I have a 16mb/down 2mb/up Connection... so this may seem like an overkill question however...

Would using a full duplex gigabit switch/router lower latency timing even minimally? Would this be beneficial for HD streaming, file sharing or gaming? Also I am having a difficult time finding a Wireless N (backward comp G atleast) Full duplex gigabit LAN router.

any assistance would be appreciated

edit: obviously in contrast to using a half duplex

With any router made within the last 10 years, you will not see an improvement with ping rates just by swapping them. At least nothing a human can detect.

Netgear RangeMax line has some gig routers that are good.
