Full HD TV Bad Quality With PC

Hello guys.
I got a TV (Telefunken T22FX970LP-T)...So when i am connecting my pc on that tv , the screen resolution is on 1080P and for some reason it seems bad ... Actually every resolution seems bad when the TV is connected with my pc...
But when i am playing on ps3 or just watching simple tv shows the quality of the screen is perfect...

How are you connecting the HDTV to your PC? HDMI, VGA, DVI ?

Simple TV will be at less than 720.
Unless you are watching a blue ray most PS3 games are 720
Try setting the PC to 720p and see if it is comparable.

The brand is not well known, some cheaper manufacturers have been known to say a 720 TV is 1080 because it "supports" 1080, even though the panel doesn't have that many pixels.

When i am setting my pc to 720p it seems better ... But not big difference

I am setting the resolution from nVidia Control Panel

Try 768 resolution if it is an option.

Last thing I can think of is that it is running two displays and mirroring them.

Check that the TV is the primary display and that is set to 1080, If it is a secondary display mirroring an odd resolution it will never look good as it will scale the primary display to match.

When i am putting the display on 768 i got a black screen :/

Not sure, then it may just be a poor quality TV which loks ok at 720 (PS3) but pushing 1080 through it reveals how bad it is.

Yeah when i am setting the laptop resolution to 1080p on TV it seems bad... But when i am setting it to 720p it seems nice.
