[SOLVED] Full Screen Vs Exculsive Full Screen

Hi,

Recently while playing fast action games like BF1, i noticed the game is becoming sluggish, mouse is now harder to move with not frams drops or minimal drame drops with freesync and vsync on..

My friend told me that its because games aee being played in borderless full screen therefore games become sluggish because desktop is being run behind the game..

How true is that? And how to know that games are playing in exculsive full screen, some games just dont have that option.

you mean borderless windowed not borderless fullscreen.
check the game settings

Thats fullscreen optimisation. It'll turn off when Gamebar is disabled. Or the actual option for it is in the compatibility tab of applications exe.
