I have used a command in Win98 called "msconfig" This would let you change the autoexec, config, or the taskbar startup menu. (not the Program startup menu) I'm talking about all those little processes running in the background that take up memory and show up on the bottom right corner of your taskbar. Now in Win2000 I haven't found a similar command that will do the same thing. I'm tired of right-click-deleting 4 to 6 icons each time i boot my system. I would like to know if there is a command in win2k that will do the same thing as msconfig.

Yeah, I'm in the same situation. For now I just use REGEDIT - most startup programs that don't appear in Start->Programs->Startup can be found at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

But hey, please let me know at mydata@telebot.net if you find anything more elegant. :)
