I recently got a new TV. I have an option for full uhd color. I am not sure whats the pros and cons for having this on while pc gaming. Should I have that turned on while using the TV for computer gaming or should I have it off. I play most of my games at 1080p on the TV. I have an option for 4k but my computer just isn't there yet.

UHD color is a commonly mis-interpreted option (like the UHD deep-color setting on 4k LG TV's).

It basically allows the full 18gbps bandwidth capability of the HDMI 2.0 port(s) on your HDTV. Legacy HDMI 1.x devices may not work once this is enabled.

If using 4k @ 59/60hz RGB at 4:4:4 pixel format, only 8-bit color can be selected as this is 17.82gbps out of the 18gbps HDMI 2.0 supports. If your display flickers, HDMI audio may need to be disabled as well.

You'll need to use YCbCr colorspace if you want to use HDR at 4k/60hz (as HDR requires at least 10-bit color).

Or wait for HDMI 2.1 devices to become available.
