Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi)
CPU: Intel i7 8700K
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz
I recently built my computer on Saturday and I installed windows and used it for most of the night. I shut down the computer for the night and hit the switch on the PSU so the ROG light would turn off and not shine while I am sleeping. I turned the computer back on on Sunday afternoon and i got Q-code 00 then flash 21 then power cycle again. I turned it off then got Q-Code CC then 55. I turned it off again then it fully booted up. I used my computer for the rest of Sunday and turned it off like the previous night. Turned it on this morning to see if the problem went away and i got the same codes in the same order > 00 > 21 turned it off then got CC > 55. I then took one RAM stick out of B2 and tried A2 and it booted. I inserted the stick back into B2 and it came back with CC > 55. I then proceeded to try one stick in each slot A1, A2, B1 and B2. The first stick booted up in all 4 slots. I then put the second stick in starting from B2 and it did not boot up in B2, B1 and A2 but booted up in A1 so I tried it back in A2 and it booted. I then put the second stick into B2 along with the first stick in A2 and it booted up again. I ran a memory test through windows when i got back into windows and it passed. I then proceeded to go into the BIOS and i changed the RAM speed to 3200MHz and the voltage to 1.35 as per the Corsair website said for my ram. I was on the computer after getting it going and after being on for awhile the computer randomly went to a light blue screen with white zig zags. I rebooted the system and got to the windows log in screen the it did it again. Restarted my computer and then got the Q-code 55 again.
Thanks for the responses.
