Function lock key does not function as intended (CMStorm Quickfire Pro)

Usually, pressing F9-F11 keys with the function lock on controls the system volume. However, for some inexplicable reason, the keys brought up the search menu when pressed when I pressed them today. Can someone tell me what's going on and how to fix this?

I assume you have a laptop
which make & model ?

You can check Fn key is detected and working by trying Fn + Numlock to turn on or off number keys which overlay letter keys

usually a device driver is required to make Function keys do non standard things like change sound volume or turn wireless on/off

Find the driver at the manufacturers web site & re install it

It's not a laptop. The function key I am talking about is the one with "FN" and a lock on it. It lights up when pressed and pressing F9-F11 while it's lit controls the volume.

Usually non standard desktop keyboards require a keyboard driver
There is no standard way a function key changes the sound volume

The action of the keys may be programable and has got corrupted

So I suggest uninstalling this software
Rebooting and re installing
