I need an Um to finish Crescent Moon. So this weekend I worked a character
and mule to the NM forge with a friend and his mule. He is new and has
never brought a mule up with a character.

We get to the forge and I get Shael and Ko. What does he get? Um and Um.
He knew I needed the Um so I had to put up with some serious gloating.

That guy makes me think there might be such a thing as luck. A while ago he
found a Tals amy and traded it for a mid level unique scepter. I told him
he got burned so he said he would just go get another. Sure enough he went
to NM arcane and got one that day.

Sounds to me like you should keep playing with this guy, as often as
possible. ;-)

You should have traded the Shael and the Ko for one of his Ums. After
all, TWO runes must be better than one! 😉
