[SOLVED] Funny little black box appears suddenly?

Hi

Today I started my computer, and a new small box is there... It looks like a dead pixel, but its a black box. I can drag it, but nothing else...
What is this?

I'd be very wary of that box. It could be a virus of some sort. If you have a virus scanner, I'd do a full scan if I were you.

It can be anything - some malware, spy program, keylogger. Anything.

Go into Task Manager processes list, try to find and kill it.
In Task Manager startup list - try to find it and disable it.
Then find all references to it in registry and remove those references.
Be careful with registry. It's possible to do much harm in there, if you don't know, what you're doing.

try to right click that box if you can move it. see f there is any options to help identify what it is.

hopefully you have important data backed up cause you may be reinstalling soon, very soon!!

Did a full scan with antivirus, and they found nothing harmful.
I will try to see in the task manager, if I can locate what it is... Otherwise, I will reinstall windows to make sure i think.

looks like you are using a non-standard shell? are you using a custom shell? could be their issue

FINALLY !!! found the source.. It was a MSI SDK installation... after removing this, it went away
