As title says, laptop speakers * the bed. It is a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 gaming laptop and the laptop never goes beyond 16 for volume since it feels slightly loud already at 16. While watching a video on youtube the sound dipped like 50% in volume and I could barely hear a thing. Afterward I turn it back down to 8 and open Itunes. Any song that has a mid-high pitch the speakers sound like shit. Does anybody know of a replacement?

Solution
Grannies often visit lol.

Well, either one or both speaker driver has a tear or theres a driver software conflict. If headphones doesn't crackle then you know it's a speaker fault.

Eq adjustment in enhancements.
Check YouTube volume slider.
Try another video, audio quality varies.
Headphones.

This is like one of those cases where I look like a granny that can't turn on a computer but someone online asks me if it's plugged in and fixed my problem.
Volume slider is common sense.
Volume is crap on every video.
EQ doesn't mean anything if speakers crack on any setting.
Not using headphones every time I want to listen to something.
