Funny, strong smell from psu

I opened the inside of the power supply unit. One of the coils looks black from maybe what the smell was. Even though the pc was working when on, would it be ok to turn it back on, I haven't yet, I'm nervous something might happen.im looking online for a new one.

That's no good, you'd be jeopardizing whole system with it.
