Futre GPU Purchase

Hello,

I currently have a 660 GTX (2GB) and I'm wondering if I'll be able to pair this with say a future 700-800 series card in SLI? I know I have to upgrade my mobo and PSU but that's a question for another day. My monitor/TV resolution is 1920x1080 which is fine for now but I seriously doubt I'll max out Crysis 3 or BF4 when they come out.

No you can buy another 660 though in the future.

you can only SLI two of the same gpu the brand doesnt matter as long as they have matching gpu and vram i.e EVGA gtx 550ti 1gb with a pny gtx 550 ti 1gb, msi gtx 560 ti 2gb with another 2gb 560ti card etc. in your case as big mentioned you can only pair it with another 660 (non ti) if you have a decent 600w psu (couldnt find your specs on your profile) you could power two of them just fine since they only require one 6-pin power to run. have fun and happy gaming
