The power supply is garbage(the PSU is not a good place to start skimping on quality), get a unit from Seasonic, XFX, Antec or Corsair. The prices seem a bit high for US $, where are you buying them from?

Is Modular
Is corsair( which means the cable will be nice and long large cases)
AND its only 7$ more

Im in AUA so everything is a little more expensive. Did you know to buy a new release game from AUSTRALIA will cost 100$

The Thermaltake isn't horrible but there are better options in that price range. For instance this 750w XFX.

Now a good 750w PSU is more than enough for a single 280x, but not enough for 2. For a single card I would get a good 650w psu like one of these.

If you want to add a 2nd card later for crossfire get an 850w psu.
