Hello All,
I recently have decided to build a solid gaming build without a graphics card as I will be saving for a nice one. I will thus most likely need an Intel processor because the FX series lacks integrated graphics. I already have a 1TB storage drive and am thus only seeking a small SSD to boot from. I'm leaning towards an i5-3570k and 8GBs of RAM as this computer will need to last me a while. Lastly, I require a WiFi card as well.
Approximate Purchase Date: 10 days from now
Budget Range: $550 AFTER shipping, taxes, and rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Initially; office work, watching HD movies, CPU intensive programs. In a few months I will be adding a higher end GPU to the build though for gaming purposes.
Are you buying a monitor: No
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg
Location: Sorry, no PC stores are within reach.
Parts Preferences: Intel > AMD (I actually am requiring Intel as I need integrated graphics)
Overclocking: Maybe (most likely in the future)
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: 1366x1768, but I'm upgrading to a 1080p monitor very soon.
Additional Comments: Aforementioned, I already have a storage drive and only need a small SSD to boot from. I also require a WiFi card. Please keep upgrade-ability to the max, as I plan for this PC to last quite awhile.
Thanks for any help in advance,
Connor
