Future proof pre-built gaming PC

What would be a good future proof pre-built? Maybe something that uses multi-threading. I have a budget of $800 to $1000. Any suggestions?

$800 to $1000 isn't going to get a "future proof" PC, definitely not in a pre-built PC. I put future proof in quotes because it's truly impossible to know what's around the corner, but $800 for a pre-built is going to get you a lot less than $800 in custom built, which already isn't going to be a whole lot in terms of future proofing.
