I'm looking to build a new gaming PC in a few months and i already started saving some money. I'm looking for a futureproof GPU for 1080p gaming that can last for a few years with decent FPS on High settings. I'm currently deciding between RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super. I know that 2060 Super is currently the best choice for 1080p Gaming and that the 2070 Super is a bit overkill, but i said "futureproof" for a reason.

Now, keep in mind that i don't live in the US, and that the price of RTX 2060 Super in my Country is around 580$ US dollars.

I can also wait for the RTX 3060 and 3070 series to come out, but like i said, it will probably be overpriced in my Country.

As far as other components go, i'm not that sure, although i will be most likely getting a Ryzen 5 3rd gen paired with a B550 motherboard.

So, what are your thoughts?

Solution
RTX 3060 probably won’t release until December-January. 3070 probably in September-October. For future proofing buy the best you can afford and justify financially.
