Fuzzy/glitchy bios and post screen after CMOS reset?

Hi,

I recently had a suspected mobo problem where my GTX 1060 was stuck in x4 and wouldn't bump up to x16 under load even though it works fine in my test system, so I reset the CMOS on my motherboard but now when I go into the bios, the screen is fuzzy and momentarily goes black for a few seconds. When windows loads everything is fine and behaves as normal. Any ideas what could have caused this?

Try and remove the CMOS battery for at least 15 minutes before replacing it. Speaking of BIOS, are you on the latest BIOS update?
