So my desktop has been crashing every once in a while, and I've been getting a crash that says system something.... but I looked at the bottom and said fvevol.sys has been breaking it. So I tried to reboot my computer and it's a black screen I also tried resetting bios cmos and everything on my motherboard and nothing. It turns on but it's just a black screen. Anyone have a fix? Thanks.

Solution
Fvevol.sys = Bitlocker Drive encryption Driver

DO you have Win 10 Pro? Have you ever used Bitlocker?

System service exception perhaps?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

See if Start up repair helps

change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up repair - this will scan PC and maybe fix this - will ask for logon info
