fx 4300 only showing as 2 cores?

I got windows 10 yesterday and when I check my task manager it say my cpu has 2 cores with 4 logical processors, shouldn't it be 4 cores with 8?

No.

The FX-4300 has four physical cores, though each pair of cores shares some resources. The CPU only presents four logical cores to the system, and Windows treats it as two physical cores to take advantage of the scheduling improvements used for HyperThreading.

The FX-4000 series is a 2 module, 4 CPU core system. Likewise the FX6000 series is a 3 module, 6 CPU core setup, and the FX8000 series is 4 module, 8 core system.
