FX 5900 longer than a GF4 Ti4600?

I've been pondering (well more waiting for the money) on getting an FX 5900 128 MB from Gainward. I currently have a GF4 Ti4600 from Gainward as well, but my little sister got into gaming and all she has is an old GF2. So I'm giving my old card to her and getting myself a new card.

My question is - is the FX 5900 significantly longer than the Ti4600? The reason I ask is I've got a generic Chieftec type case, and I have 2 HDD's in the bottom cage - which is directly parallel to the AGP slot on my A7N8X motherboard. There is no other room in the case for them, so moving the HDD's isn't an option (I've got a DVD-ROM, CD-R/W and my root HDD in the 5 1/4 bays and a floppy and multiflash reader in the top removable 3.5 cage). Getting a non-nVidia card isn't an option either, as I've got my mind set on the FX 5900 from Gainward mainly b/c of my wonderful experience with that company.

Any insights?

The FX is longer as for the diff in your case;don't know never seen one,but if i,m not mistaken Tom has a side by side view of the two cards some where i beleave in the data base.Try the search, and some other sites,or go to nvidia and see if you can find the spec,s of the card.or maybe some nice person here could give you the size of the card.in inches so you can check the clearance of your case.

TREAD SLOWLY IN DANGEROUS WATERS

Just ask the people you're buying it from to tell you the physical dimensions of the card. And then forget about buying the card from the companies that don't get this information for you.

if not longer wider, with tons of capacitors
