Fx 6200 a solid cpu for gaming and recording games?

Ordering parts today, and I think this is what I'm going with. I'm not getting the 6300 because it feels like too much of a risk for my first build since most motherboards aren't guaranteed to have the right bios update.

So is the 6200 a solid choice?

The 6300 performs better in all aspects up to about 15%
Research which motherboards do support it and purchase one of those

Most motherboards only need a BIOS update, check their latest BIOS downloads and you'll know.
