I have an FX 6300 and an ASUS M5 A97 R2.0 mobo. I only have $45 right now that I can safely spend on something that isn't a necessity. Before anyone posts this, I do NOT want an EVO 212. It's not that I don't like it, but only that I don't need it. I want something easy to install and doesn't require the removal of stock brackets/backplates. I only want to hit 4.3 or 4.4GHz safely, and without having a giant spaceship inside my case to do so. I know Google is my friend, but all of the threads I found are all about buying the EVO 212. I probably haven't dug deep enough, but I am still looking. Any help is greatly appreciated in advanced. Thanks. :)

90 % of the time you don't have to remove the motherboard to install a evo or a H100 provided your case!!!!! Yes Your case and motherboard tray give you the room. The reason The evo is mention so much is because its so damn good for the low cost Idk Myself what you could install in place of your stock cooler other then the 2 mention for that amount of money you have... to spend also you don't always know if your going to get the overclock you mention not all chips are equal.
You should be able to get a second hand or refurbished H100 for your $45. It's simple to install too, just install the fans on the rad, mount the rad, and the pump/block clips on to the stock AMD brackets.

There are probably more coolers out there that easily mount on to the stock bracket, but the only two I know of are the Corsair H60 and the H100.

I'll probably get the EVO I guess, I thought the EVO was compatible with the stock backplate anyway?
