Hi , i am very confused , i have a GTX 1060 and a FX 6300 with a gigabyte 870A-USB3 motherboard . In games , i have very bottleneck and many games are unplayeable because the fps drops ( either in minimum i have Fps Drops ) ... I think to move to i5 6500 but is much money , so i cant afford it . I can Overclocking the FX 6300 , with stock cooler and this mother or is a bad option ? Is better to buy a FX 8320 or is the same for gaming ?

I only want to take away the botteleneck and the FPS drops . Help plz

That motherboard isn't going to overclock well at all. The max I can suggest is overclocking on stock voltage.

You will need a 3rd party cooler, never use the stock heatsinks for overclocking. However they are cheap, just $25 will get you a good enough air cooler for your needs.

Even an FX 8320 overclocked will bottleneck the GTX 1060. Your best option is to save your money until you can get an B150 + i5-6500 combo.

LOL , the I5-6500 + B150 is the combo that i am thinking ! But is too much money right now , so is useless to buy a Coller Master Hyper 212 for example and ocing the FX-6300 with THIS mother ? Or i have to change the mother too ? And is profit in gaming if i oc the FX 6300 or i dont notice the diference in FPS ?

Your best option right now is to overclock your FX 6300 on that motherboard you have currently but ONLY use stock voltage, don't overvolt when overclocking.

All you would need to get is a Hyper 212 EVO and your set. You'll probably get a 400mhz overclock at most but it is probably worth it. Plus you can put the Hyper 212 on your Core i5 in the future.

You will noticed slightly more FPS with the overclock. Also remember to mess around with the graphical detail settings to gain more FPS.

Hi,

I recently upgraded from the FX 8370 and I have the same video card you have, GTX 1060.

On BF4 I was getting 45-50 fps on ultra 1080 and Overwatch was giving me about 70. The FPS count on Overwatch was what finally convinced me to upgrade cause on an old i7-860 with a gtx 750 ti I was getting 60-65. So there's no way I went and spent about $1,000 on all these computer parts and that only got me an additional 10 fps.

I upgraded to a i7-6700k, a gigabyte z170 motherboard, and 32gb of ddr4 ram at 3000mhz, and my fps in BF4 skyrocketed to about 120-124 on average, within the general range of 79-150. Freaking absurd. And this on Ultra 1080p. Not overclocking either since I don't trust my case and cooler.

What I'm saying is, go with whatever Intel chip you can afford, and you'll see a huge performance boost. You can offset some of the costs by selling off the mobo and processor you have now.

Yes but dont exist in Argentina. I have the options at the list

How much RAM are you planing to get at start?
If you go with 8 GB buy 2x4GB for better memory performance and mobo with 4 slots for future RAM upgrade , if you go with 16GB 2x8 GB ram and get the cheapest mobo and rest money to get i5 6600.

Perfect, i go for 8gb, so going 2x4gb is Best? And the mobo B150 is cheaper than the others, so i will search for a B150 Msi, Asrock or giga with 4 ram slots. Thank u

Okay , the best and cheaper combo that i find is :

I5 6500 + 2*4GB 2133 DDR4 + MSI PRO-VDH
i5 6500 + 2*4GB 2133 DDR4 + Gigabyte DS3H

The 1st combo is 15usd cheaper than the 2nd combo ... Go with that ?

Yeah but that mobo is out of stock ... So i have to buy all parts in the same webpage . So the best is that the 2 combos that i say before , what do u say ? The MSI or the Gigabyte DS3H ? ? ?

Go for DS3H if you have money for it,it is just a bit better mobo not much difference between 2 of them. I think mostly is in power delivery what can help in long runs and heavy loads but since CPU have low power consumption i think there wont be any problems no matter witch one you pick.

It is same CPU with higher clocks. If you want to save money then go for i5 6500 and MSI mobo. i5 6600 will perform just slight better like 2-3% at max.
Other option is to buy used parts. I think for the same money you can get i7 4770 or 4790 and mobo and you have DDR3 RAM. If you know any site with used parts link it here and i will try to find something for you.
