FX-6300 M5A97 LE R2.0 only shows 4 cores

Trying to put together a Kids Christmas PC from the above mentioned old parts. BIOS only sees 4 cores, reset CMOS, Reseated CPU, Deleted cores in device manager, Fresh install of Win10.....no luck.....HELP!!!

Asus M5A97 LE 2.0 (Latest BIOS 2701 i think)
16GB DDR3
EVGA GTX650
Diablo 550watt PSU
DIYpc mid tower
Win10 home
WD black 500gb hdd

2| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?

3| While installing the CPU onto the motherboard, did you make sure that no pins were bent?

Added specs above, Yes BIOS is the latest, I did remove the CPU to check pins, before that the CPU had not been removed from the MB since I originally built it. Has been stored in an anti static bag in the original MB box.
