i overclocked my fx 6300 to 4.4 ghz voltage at 1.38. i have been using with oc for like 2 week and i never had bosd or any crash while gaming ( dota 2 and bf4) but when i run prime95 blend test or occt it sometimes crash or one core failure so does that mean oc is unstable or is it something with the ram or something else?

full spec
fx 6300
m4a97 r2
r9 270 dual x
2x4 gb gskill 1x4 gb corsair ram
vs 550
thanks in advance.

Personally, I'd advise returning to what is stable under stress tests but I know people who continue to play and never have a problem. Game on if you wish, but if you do get a blue screen, then most definitely return to what is stable per stress tests.

so should i keep using it like that or is it something bad for my pc ?

I'd personally drop it down a notch, but if it works it works (until it doesnt, then you might be annoyed by having played a particularly difficult mission and crashing before a checkpoint)

actually i dont want to lower the oc. 4.4 ghz was my aim at start and i tried giving more voltage (1.41) but i had same problems.maybe the problem is my ram?
