I would not try it. For two reason. MSI is know for having boards explode or burst into flames because of the crappy capacitors, mosfets etc.... The 970A-G46 is infamous for this. Your board is even weaker. Much weaker. To really overclock a 6 or 8 core cpu you need a board with 8+2 phase power and nice beefy heatsinks on the northbridge and mosfets. That board has 3+1 phase power an NO heatsink on the mosfets. Guaranteed the 6300 will exhibit thermal throttling even at stock speeds. I would only...

And with no overclock. FX cpu's NEED full ATX boards to function as intended.

Not really. Can you get a GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P in your country? A good, cheap board.

Yes I can buy that motherboard. Thanks a lot for the help!
If anyone is still looking for a real answer to this question and not the typical "I know nothing, you should upgrade" response then, yes you can overly on the mobo very easily. I've gotten 4.5ghz very stable on this mobo with a 6300. Don't listen to the noobs answering above
